These policies and planning details help you compare options before ordering. Your written quote, order documents, and model-specific manual control if they differ.
Does Affordable Lifts install the lift?
Affordable Lifts does not provide on-site installation. Most customers complete the work themselves or use a capable person in their local network. We provide model-specific guidance and phone support to help the project move forward.
What payment methods are accepted?
Accepted methods include debit and credit cards, electronic or paper checks, and domestic wire transfers for orders over $1,000. Allow approximately five business days for check payments to clear before scheduling can proceed.
What is the cancellation policy?
Before shipment, a cancellation is subject to a fee equal to 20% of the lift price; eligible shipping charges are refundable. Once the lift has shipped, the order cannot be canceled. Ask Sales to confirm the current written terms before ordering.
Can manufacturing be expedited?
Rush or factory-expedite options may be available depending on the configuration and production schedule. Ask Sales about timing and any added charge before placing the order.
What warranty comes with a new lift?
New-lift coverage is one year for parts and three months for labor, measured from the ship date. Coverage is non-transferable and excludes abuse, improper use, and conditions outside the written warranty. Used lifts are sold as-is and do not include a warranty.
Where can I find the serial number?
Look for the serial number on the safety-guard label or on the lift collar. Include it when requesting manuals, parts, or troubleshooting so Support can match the correct information to your equipment.
Can I use a generic manual from an older lift?
Use only the manual matched to your exact model and serial number. Designs and components change, so older photos or instructions may not match your lift. Email support@affordablelifts.com or call (434) 515-2321.
What should I know about a used lift?
Used lifts are private, as-is transactions. Confirm condition, fit, configuration, transport, modification costs, and installation before buying. Review our used vertical platform lift guide for typical costs and responsibilities.
