Used lifts are private sales. Affordable Lifts is not the seller, buyer, broker, transporter, installer, or warranty provider for a used-lift transaction.

Buying or selling

Know who is responsible for what.

A used lift can be a practical option, but the purchase price is only one part of the decision. Fit, condition, freight, modifications, installation, and support all matter.

If you are buying

  • Report your ownership transfer to Affordable Lifts as soon as you take possession. Lift-specific customer support and service require the lift and current owner to match our records.
  • The lift is sold directly by its owner, typically as-is.
  • Confirm station height, platform size, gate layout, mounting, voltage, and condition.
  • Plan separately for removal, freight, site preparation, modifications, and installation.
  • Used lifts typically do not include a new-lift warranty.

If you are selling

  • Notify Affordable Lifts immediately when the lift is sold so we can record the new owner and transfer the applicable service agreement. Ask your buyer to submit the ownership-transfer form.
  • You set the asking price and describe the lift honestly.
  • Provide your Affordable Lift serial number, asking price, location, and condition. Photos are welcome but optional; we retrieve lift dimensions from the serial number.
  • You and the buyer agree on payment, removal, pickup, freight, and timing.
  • Affordable Lifts may share the opportunity with interested buyers but does not manage the sale.
