Affordable Lifts Customer Care

Safety information for every Affordable Lift.

Read the warning labels and the owner manual supplied with your lift before operation. Keep this page available for routine inspections and questions.

If you have any doubt about the safety of your lift, take it out of service immediately and call Customer Support at (434) 515-2321.
Do not use the lift until the concern has been adequately addressed.

Safe operation starts with the right information.

You are responsible for confirming that the lift is adequate for the task, properly installed, safe for the people operating it, and compliant with applicable requirements. Product details may evolve, so the manual supplied for your serial number controls over generic photos or examples.

Before every use

  • Inspect the platform, gates, controls, cables, and travel path.
  • Keep the area above and below the platform clear.
  • Confirm the landing and gate area are unobstructed.

During operation

  • Follow all capacity, positioning, and warning labels.
  • Keep hands, feet, clothing, and objects away from moving parts.
  • Never defeat or bypass a gate, interlock, stop, or fall-protection feature.

Stop and call

  • Unusual sound, movement, damage, or a safety-device concern.
  • A gate, control, cable, or platform does not operate as expected.
  • Bracing, anchoring, or the supporting structure appears loose or compromised.
